A meeting with representatives of the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) was held at the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further strengthening cooperation between the Academy and the ICJ. Particular attention was given to the organization of a specialized course on international law for the Academy’s trainees in the 2026–2027 academic year, as well as to engaging distinguished international experts, including experts from the United Nations, in the delivery of the course.

The participants also exchanged views on introducing international standards of justice into the educational process, enhancing the knowledge and practical skills of judges and judicial professionals in the field of international law, and implementing joint educational and scientific-practical projects.

The meeting was held in an open and constructive atmosphere. The parties expressed their readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation, promote international best practices in the judicial sector, and implement joint educational and expert initiatives.
