Expanding Scientific and Practical Cooperation in the Field of Family and Gender Issues

The Academy of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Research Institute “Family and Women” under the Committee on Family and Women have signed a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation.
The Memorandum is aimed at further developing cooperation between the parties in the areas of family and gender issues, scientific research in the judicial and legal sphere, as well as education and professional development.
Within the framework of the document, the parties will undertake scientific and practical research, organize seminars, conferences and other events with the participation of specialists, and establish the exchange of experience and scientific and methodological materials.
Particular attention within the framework of cooperation will be paid to training promising female candidates for judicial positions, further enhancing their role and contribution to the judicial and legal system, expanding the representation of women in the judiciary, as well as providing scientific and practical support for measures aimed at increasing the proportion of women judges to 30 percent.
This cooperation will contribute to combining the scientific and practical potential of the two organizations, improving legal knowledge on family and gender issues, enabling women to realize their professional potential within the judicial and legal system, and advancing research in this area.
