International Cooperation Issues Discussed at the Academy of Justice

A meeting was held at the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a delegation of the International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law (IIJ, Malta).

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further strengthening cooperation between the two institutions. In particular, they exchanged views on organizing a seven-day international training program in autumn 2026 for the Academy’s trainees and faculty members on combating terrorism and cybercrime.

The participants also considered issues related to capacity building, the introduction of advanced international practices into the educational process, the signing of a memorandum of understanding, and the implementation of joint educational and research projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation and launch new joint initiatives.
