Combating Cybercrime – A Priority of Our Time
Today, a seminar-training titled “Combating Cybercrime: A Forward-Looking Perspective” was held in the city of Samarkand. The event was jointly organized by the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law Enforcement Academy, and the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan.
The seminar provided a comprehensive platform to discuss pressing issues related to cybercrime, including the legal frameworks governing the collection, analysis, and admissibility of digital evidence in judicial practice. Participants were introduced to international best practices, human rights standards, and advanced approaches to the use of modern investigative technologies.
This seminar-training aims to enhance the professional competence of specialists in combating cybercrime and to further strengthen the capacity of judicial and legal professionals.
