Professional Capacity in Information Technology Enhanced

The Academy of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), organized a training course entitled “Information Technology Crimes: From Detection to Court Judgment” in the Zaamin District of the Jizzakh Region.

During the training course, held on 29–30 July, judges explored modern approaches to detecting and adjudicating crimes in the field of information technology.

The sessions covered practical aspects of combating cybercrime, the capabilities of digital forensics, methods of handling electronic evidence, blockchain technologies, issues related to crypto-assets, and other relevant topics.

At the conclusion of the course, participants were awarded certificates. It was noted that the course would further strengthen the knowledge and practical skills of judges and other professionals in effectively handling cases involving information technology.
