A training course entitled “Crimes in the Field of Information Technologies: From Detection to Judicial Decision” was organized in the Khorezm region by the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

The training was held on 11–12 June and brought together judges, members of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and experts in the relevant field.

During the sessions, participants discussed current issues related to combating cybercrime, the use of digital forensics, methods of handling electronic evidence, blockchain technologies, and crypto-assets.

At the conclusion of the course, certificates were awarded to the participants. It was noted that such training programs contribute to strengthening the knowledge and practical skills of judges in adjudicating cases related to information technologies.
