The International Day of the Well-being of Judges and Court Personnel, established by a resolution of the United Nations General Assembly, carries profound significance.

Well-being is reflected, first and foremost, in ensuring decent working conditions that strengthen the independence, integrity, and impartiality of judges, while also promoting their physical and mental health.

It is worth emphasizing that one of the fundamental objectives of the judicial reforms being implemented in New Uzbekistan is to ensure, in practice, the independence and inviolability of judges and to provide them with comprehensive support. In this regard, the significance of this day for the national judicial system is exceptionally important.

To mark this occasion, the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan has initiated a wide range of measures aimed at developing criteria for assessing the working conditions, workload, psychological well-being, material and technical support, professional development opportunities, and level of social protection of judges and court personnel. Based on these criteria, the "Judges and Court Personnel Well-being Index" is being developed and gradually introduced, alongside a system for assessing satisfaction with their professional activities.

The well-being of judges and court personnel is the foundation of their professionalism and high competence.
