The Department of Professional Skills of the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan specializes in developing modern knowledge and practical skills among candidates for judicial positions, judges, and court staff in the areas of professional ethics, judicial psychology, academic writing, logical and critical thinking, and the effective use of modern information technologies.

Training at the Department is organized based on a combination of theory and practice, with extensive use of real-life professional situations, cases and practical scenarios, practical assignments, training seminars, group work, and interactive teaching methods.

The main objective of the Department is to develop trainees’ high professional culture, adherence to ethical standards, psychological awareness, independent and logical thinking, ability to express their views clearly and convincingly, and skills in using modern technologies.

The Department offers the following educational modules: “Conflict of Interest in the Judicial System and Anti-Corruption,” “Judicial Psychology,” “Professional Culture and Ethics of a Judge,” “Academic Writing Skills,” “Logic,” and “Modern Information Technologies and Artificial Intelligence in the Judicial System.” Within these modules, professional ethics and culture, judicial psychology, academic writing, logical and critical thinking, prevention of conflicts of interest, and the use of modern technologies are studied through practical examples.

Particular attention during the training is paid to analyzing professional and psychological situations, working with academic and legal texts, completing practical assignments, conducting discussions and training seminars, as well as using modern information technologies and artificial intelligence tools.
