The Department of Economic and Legal Disciplines operates within the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, established pursuant to Decree No. PF–141 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 21, 2025, “On Measures to Fundamentally Improve the System for Training Highly Qualified Personnel in the Field of Justice.”

The Department specializes in teaching educational modules within the “Training Course on Economic Law Specialization” for candidates for judicial positions, judges, and court staff.

Classes are organized in an interactive format using modern information and communication technologies.

The educational process is organized based on the traditions of mentorship and apprenticeship, in accordance with the principle “a future judge is trained by a judge.” The Department’s teaching staff consists of highly qualified legal professionals with many years of judicial experience.

The Department’s faculty members have prepared and published specialized educational literature and practical manuals intended for application in judicial practice for trainees, judges, and court staff.

In particular, the following educational and practical manuals have been prepared: “Samples of Judicial Documents in Economic Cases,” “Collection of Tests on Economic and Legal Disciplines,” “Procedure for Applying to Economic Courts,” “Entrepreneurs’ Rights under Judicial Protection,” “Contracts, Statements of Claim, Mediation and Arbitration Courts,” as well as educational and practical manuals dedicated to handling cases related to arbitration proceedings.
