INFORMATION ON THE ACTIVITIES OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE AND FACILITIES DEPARTMENT
The Administrative and Facilities Department of the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a structural unit responsible for providing the Academy with the necessary material, technical, administrative, and support resources, organizing the rational use of buildings and facilities, and ensuring their proper maintenance.
The Department carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, other regulatory legal documents, internal documents of the Academy, and the Regulations on the Administrative and Facilities Department.
Main Objective of the Administrative and Facilities Department
The main objective of the Department is to create the necessary conditions for the effective implementation of the Academy’s educational, research, organizational, and other activities, to develop its material and technical infrastructure, and to ensure its rational use.
Main Tasks of the Administrative and Facilities Department
Within the scope of its powers, the Department performs the following main tasks:
- ensures the proper maintenance of the Academy’s buildings and facilities, service premises, and other areas;
- organizes the rational use of buildings and facilities and regularly monitors their technical condition;
- takes appropriate measures to organize routine maintenance, landscaping, and, where necessary, repair works;
- ensures the effective use of furniture, inventory, equipment, and other material and technical resources required for the Academy’s activities;
- monitors the proper storage of material assets and their use in accordance with established procedures;
- takes measures to ensure the rational and economical use of electricity, heating, water, and other utility services;
- ensures compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements within the Academy’s premises and organizes cleanliness and landscaping activities;
- within its authority, organizes appropriate measures to ensure compliance with fire safety, occupational health and safety, and technical safety requirements;
- provides the necessary logistical and facilities support for educational sessions, scientific and practical events, conferences, seminars, and other organizational activities held at the Academy;
- develops proposals for the rational, efficient, and targeted use of material and technical resources.
Main Areas of Activity
The Administrative and Facilities Department plays an important role in ensuring the uninterrupted day-to-day operation of the Academy. The Department systematically carries out activities aimed at maintaining and developing the Academy’s infrastructure, organizing support and service processes, ensuring the integrity and proper functioning of material and technical resources, and creating comfortable working and learning conditions.
In addition, in cooperation with other structural units of the Academy, the Department studies their needs related to administrative and material-technical support and takes measures to meet those needs based on available resources and capabilities.
