In its activities, the Department shall be guided by the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, legislative acts of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Charter of the Academy and the Regulations on the Department.

The Department is a structural unit of the Academy and is directly subordinate to the Rector and the Vice-Rector for Scientific, Innovation and Information-Analytical Affairs.

The Department carries out its activities in cooperation with all faculties, departments and divisions of the Academy, as well as with state and public organizations working with young people, the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, the Agency for Youth Affairs, and other partner institutions.

The activities of the Department are aimed at organizing spiritual and educational, socio-political, educational and patriotic activities among Academy trainees, Master’s degree students, participants of professional development courses, and young employees.
